Stronger together
for Kenyan education.
JF Finance is a purpose-built education lender. We partner with organisations who share our conviction that every child in Kenya deserves access to quality education.
Organisations we work with
Each partnership is built on a shared conviction — that access to quality education changes lives. Here are the organisations we work alongside.

IDP Foundation, Inc.
IDP Foundation, Inc.
IDP Foundation (IDPF) is a global funder and champion of the affordable non-state education sector, focused on improving learning outcomes in low-fee private schools across Africa. Active in Ghana for over 15 years and in Kenya since 2022, IDPF partners with financial institutions and education organisations to combine access to capital with quality teacher training and school leadership development.
Jackfruit Finance is a named local financial partner in IDPF's Incentives for Learning (IEL) initiative — a blended finance programme that links school improvement loans to learning outcomes. Together, we are helping Kenyan school owners access financing while improving learning quality and school infrastructure across underserved communities.

Teach United
Teach United
Teach United works globally to build educator and leadership capacity within schools. Their programmes have helped over 1 million children receive a higher quality education across the globe by improving the skills and confidence of the teachers who serve them every day.
Jackfruit partners with Teach United to increase education capacity within Jackfruit schools — giving the teachers in our network access to proven professional development programmes that improve classroom delivery and student outcomes.

Cheza Cheza
Cheza Cheza
Dance is the perfect way for children to express their feelings, forget their stresses, and grow in confidence. ChezaCheza runs weekly dance therapy classes that provide a safe, fun, and inclusive environment — teaching life skills and social-emotional learning. These free sessions are particularly beneficial for all children, especially those with low self-esteem, anxiety, or trauma.
Jackfruit has partnered with Cheza Cheza to run free weekly dance therapy sessions in schools across our network — supporting the emotional wellbeing of children alongside their academic development.

East African Educational Publishers
East African Educational Publishers
Books are an essential tool to boost children's learning. East African Educational Publishers produce school textbooks and reading books — many by local authors — that reflect the realities, stories, and contexts of East African children. Their publishing catalogue covers the full curriculum and is trusted by schools across the region.
Through our partnership, all Jackfruit Finance schools receive free textbooks, and all other schools in our network access discounted rates — reducing one of the most significant recurring costs for school directors.

BURN
BURN
BURN is Africa's largest vertically integrated clean cookstove company, headquartered in Kenya and operating across 10 African countries. Producing over 200,000 stoves per month from their solar-powered facility in Nairobi, BURN's Jikokoa stove reduces fuel consumption by over 30% and indoor air pollution by 65% — improving the health, finances, and environment of the communities it serves.
Jackfruit has partnered with BURN to bring clean cooking solutions to schools in our network — improving kitchen safety and air quality for school cooks, staff, and the wider school community, while reducing the ongoing fuel costs that put pressure on school budgets.

Opportunity International
Opportunity International
Opportunity International is striving to end global poverty through empowering and enabling people to attain an education, giving them the chance to thrive with dignity and purpose.
Jackfruit partners with Opportunity International for technical assistance and academic research — bringing rigour and evidence to how we design and deliver our school financing products.

Global Schools Forum
Global Schools Forum
Global Schools Forum works with non-state schools, delivering quality education and bringing a more accessible funding and support system. They understand the importance of all children, regardless of background or family income, being able to access a good standard of education.
Jackfruit partners with Global Schools Forum for their expertise in supporting non-state schools and enabling education in the regions it is most needed. GSF is also a technical partner in the IDP Foundation Incentives for Learning initiative alongside Jackfruit Finance.
